Connecticut

For the state's size, Connecticut is still able to squeeze in around 30,000 acres of permanent pasture and rangeland and accommodate around 5,500 active farms. Regenerative farms are critical in tight spaces to keep the land rich and fertile and to keep from exhausting the soil to meet production demands. Supporting these farms will not only increase awareness of how important responsible farming is to the environment, but it will put the highest quality food on the table as well.
